SQ8 on scene gave fully involved car fire inside an attached garage. E8 took command, SQ4 was search and rescue of the house, E7 took care of the utilities and RIC, Q4 took care of ventilation. BAT1 took command and E8 took over safety officer. Fire was contained to the garage and no extension into the house.

September 24th 2008:

Apartment Fire 635 N. Westlink

Q17 on scene gave heavy fire showing from the exterior of a 2 story apartment complex. SQ17 took fire attack, E8 assisted fire attack, Q16 was search and rescue and ventilation, SQ4 was RIC, E16 provided a water supply to Q17. BAT1 took command. Fire started in the kitchen.

House Fire 1629 S. Grove

E11 on scene gave heavy smoke showing on a 1000sq ft. home. E11 was fire attack with SQ11 taking command. SQ2 was search and rescue with SQ3, E5 stagged by a hydrant. E2 was RIC/ventilation. Fire attack crews found the fire in the laundry room and were able to get a good knockdown.

MAP

E37 on scene gave heavy smoke showing from the back of an apartment building. E37 was fire attack with SQ18. E37 found fire on the exterior that traveled to the attic. Crews were able to stop the fire spread quickly.

E16 on scene gave heavy fire and smoke showing on a home under construction. AP16 (Q21) was on scene and was fire attack, Q13 on scene assisted fire attack, BAT1 took command and requested a second alarm and went defensive. SQ8/E8 laid a water supply to Q13.

SQ10 on scene gave heavy smoke showing, SQ10/E10 were fire attack, SQ5 took Erie Command, SQ1 was search and rescue, AP1 was ventilation, E1 provided a water supply. After crews were initiating an interior attack the safety officer found the home to be under heavy fire conditions and pulled all crews out for a short time.
